By Clement Stone. Reading it for the second time now. Excellent book, I highly recommend. "Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can acheive."

Must be a good book if you're reading it twice. :)

This guy W. Clement Stone did a lot of work with Napoleon Hill I believe. From what I remember, he started with nothing and made a fortune in the insurance business.

I read a review on this book and it said that Napoleon Hill collaborated on it as well.

Stone's company is still around. http://www.combined.com

This is how I stumbled across the 17 Principles in the Hill/Stone bool, by researching what Combined taught.

Success Through A Positive Mental Attitude was written by Napoleon Hill and W. Clement Stone.

Mr Stone hired Napoleon Hill To teach his Science of Success Achievement course to all of his employees. He was inspired by Napoleon Hill's first two book: Law of Success, published 1928, and Think and Grow Rich, published in 1937, which he said helped him make his first million dollars in the insurance business. After several years of teaching all of Mr. Stones insurance agents, Stone's wealth grew to over $100,000,000

Napoleon Hill first introduced his success achievement course in 1922, and one of his first students was William Wriggley.

If you would like any more information about Napoleon Hill, please feel free to contact me. I taught his course for 20 years.

I worked for one of W.Clement Stone's companies more years ago than I care to mention. Mr. Stone was commonly called Mr. PMA in the Chicago area. PMA stood for positive mental attitude. All of the employees were exposed to the success principles on a continuing basis. I have a real life story to tell about working at Mr. Stone's company and PMA.
I worked at Mr. Stone's company for three years and received the standard success indoctrination which all the employees did during that period. After three years I moved on in my career. Ten years later I asked myself if that PMA stuff really works. As I though about it, I looked back and realized that every young person in my department at Mr. Stone's company ten years prior, including myself, was now the president or vice president of another company; one of the guys now in his mid forties and another in his fifties were already self made millionaires.
I never quentioned the power of PMA after that realization. Al Z
