I was just wondering if you are making consistent progress towards your goals.
Can you look at the goals you have set for yourself and say that you are accomplishing the small steps necessary to achieve those goals?
Personally I am quite happy with my progress and feel that I am on the right track. Of course some days are like this: :banghead: and some days are like this: :yippee: , but its generally somewhere in between.
What about you?
I'd say ditto. Some days are bang your head against the wall and others are yippee. But I definitely feel the movement taking place. Goals are fun! :)
Do you have a largest goal Scarlet? Or several that are equally pressing?

Yeah, its a great feeling when positive momentum starts happening.... especially when you can look at your list of goals and tick off the smaller steps that have been achieved.
I do have several goals, all of which I wrote down about a week ago. Now I have to stay disciplined enough to review them regularly and evaluate my progress.
I prefer to be working on a few different things in parallel to add some variety. I have kept my goals manageable and achievable so I can handle them without too much stress. ;)

you only ever make progress when you are in a positive frame of mind.
i regularly seem to go forward in some areas, but loose in others. problem being that they may be equally as important.
i have said before 'that you get what you focus on' and there is no other reality.
life always seems to be push & shove, give & take, and you can never please all of the people all of the time. overall though, i am very pleased with where i am as opposed to where i have been.

Yeah, I totally agree with this.
I find that if I am a bit stressed, then it takes away some of the motivation to push forward. To overcome this I am learning how to "reframe" situations, which helps to turn around the negative thinking.

You CAN actually force a situation and make progress or even achieve your goal in a negative frame of mind. But it will be a lot of suffering and a pain in the neck to get there. It won't be smooth sailing.
Whereas being positive kinda greeses the wheel, and even if there are problems, things tend to move forward anyway with relative ease.
