My Daddy has spent most of the last 3 weeks in and out of the hospital. We were able to bring him home yesterday and he is expected to return to his spritely self very soon. He is 81 years young :yippee: and is feeling like he has a new chance to enjoy life. Right now I can hear the sounds of a football game playing on his television, which means he's a happy guy right now. :yup:

I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude and thanks :thanx: to everyone who asked after my father day after day, and those of you who reminded me to also take care of myself during the long days of his hospitalization.

Just this morning, I told him about all of your well-wishes and prayers. His eyes filled with tears and he asked me to express his heartfelt thanks to you all. He was amazed at the way you all were so kind and that people from all over the world were praying for him.

I just wanted to say that I believe that each of you have contributed to my father's recovery, and I am full of gratitude and love for you all.

 :loveit: :kiss2: :loveit:

:applause: EXCELLENTE NOUVELLE! :applause:

Sweet Lady J,

I'll keep your dad in mind as he's now
linked to Gina's dad and Corinne's sister
whenever I say my prayers at night and
in the morning. I want him to get stronger
than he's ever been -- watch out! :dance2:

I'm so grateful to know he'll be "his ol' self"
for Christmas. What a blessing this is!

Give him an extra special "caresse québécoise"
for me -- make it as French as you can. :D

All my love,
Mudd :blowkiss:

Yup, it's in those situations we're reminded not to take the simple things for granted... to be able to sleep in your own bed, to have the love and support of the people around you, to be able to watch tv... (lol)

Seriously though, this is good news, Jules. Today he is watching football, next week he'll be PLAYING football!!!
