Chat crashed last night and when I was trying to fix, I went ahead and upgraded the software for it. I'm told some people are having trouble getting in now.

If the chat isn't working for you since today/yesterday, make sure your Flash is up to date. Go here and download (http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash), and then reboot. That should fix it.

I'm still experiencing quite a lag in opening most of the when I visit here. Not the chat, the main board. This lag is not present in other sites I visit.

What browser do you use?

IE .... haven't done the IE7. Heard some less-than-cool stuff with that

hmmm...I don't know. Do you clean out your cookies at all, or do you just leave them?

I wipe cookies off My Face everytime I eat them. :D

Okay, so I downloaded that flash thingy and it installed a yahoo toolbar with it. Anyone know how I get rid of the yahoo toolbar?

also, how do you allow popups?

Okay, installed flash, rebooted computer, removed the yahoo toolbar, fixed popup blocker, still can't get into chat room.

Okay, well I think I may have been banned from chat because I am not able to log in at all. Out of curiosity to see if it was a browser issue I used my old screenname from two years ago and it let me log in, so its not a browser issue. It just doesn't like mleighp1. :confused:

No I don't think you were banned from chat... I had the same problem the other night. It kept asking me for a login and password! Tom fixed it since then, but maybe it is happening again.. I know I have been in there since then as well, and no longer get that pop up screen asking for a login and password before I can get into chat. Hope this helps somewhat?
