Do you have any names that you thought were one way, but were in fact, something much different?
One of my favorites was a Major League Manager, though just getting that start at the time. As a relatively active Sports Fan (at the time) I'd of course always heard of "Loopinella", and thought that was just an affectation assigned to him.
Well, one day, on a radio show I was on a couple times a week (Portland KFXX), I brought up Loopinella :hopeless: , because he had just been hired by Seattle to get them back on track (OK, at least find a track for them to get onto!:-) Well, you can guess the rest! 2 more hours of Loopinella tossed back at me! :biglaugh: It was fun, and we heard a bunch of really cleaver misinterpretations. :thumb:
