I was thinking of starting my own small hosting business and I was wondering if any of you have experience with having a reselling account and selling your services. I figure that the hardest thing is the billing, setting up cpanel, and getting customers of course. :)

Are you wanting to be a hosting reseller (use someone else's servers) or are you wanting to actually own the servers and support them?

I have thoughts on both sides.

the reseller option is good. becuase as a single person its difficult to maintain the servers in good condition. if u get a good hosting company which employs lots of technical professionals to take care of day to day maintenance work and gives u 99% uptime, you can just sell their services. this is a very profitable business. i am doing this in india right now.
