Indeed it is a sad day. I used the quotes only because it is what President Bush already said.

President Reagan, "The Great Communicator" was one of the few Presidents to actually leave office with higher popularity rating than when he came in.

In my humble opinion, hands-down the greatest President in my lifetime, with no close second. I am very sad to see him go.

President Ronald Reagan, I am proud to say, was the first candidate I selected to be Commander and Chief when I became eligible to vote as a young adult back in the early 1980s. That was probably the best decision I've made in my entire life as a voting citizen.

I am happy for the Reagan family that there is finally some closure to the Presidents long battle with His Illness. Mrs. Nancy Reagan may have suffered from his illness as much as the President did, if not more so.

I feel we have gained more by His existence, than we have lost by His departure. I mean that in a positive sense, and with no disrespect at all.

Mr. President, you have inspired and influenced me to be a better citizen.

Rest in peace President Ronald Reagan.

I always liked Reagan, even when others around me complained about him. I think he was a good man and a good President.

May he rest in peace.

I watched the funeral yesterday. Very emotional.
