Instead of a photo, I get a white box with a red X in the upper left corner. Do I need to load some special software that will enable me to view all photos online?

Im on aol 9.0 and I have windows xp... it is not on all photos. just some.

I don't use either of those, so I don't think I can be much help. But I have the same problem sometimes, and usually refreshing the browser once or twice fixes it for me.

here's a dumb question..doh..lol...but when you say browser, what the heck is that exactly? Is that aol for me? I do have something called Internet Explorer on my computer and Im not sure what it is for? Is that my "browser"?

Yes, I'm not that familiar with AOL, but I guess they have their own browser. But IE (internet explorer) is a browser. Whatever you use to surf web sites, Mozilla, Netscape, IE, etc. etc.

If you are using AOL's browser, there should be 'refresh' or 'reload' button. If you click on that, it will call up the page over again. This will usually load images that didn't load the first time.
