ParadiseWaits 02-08-2007, 10:18 AM My fiance and I celebrated a week early cuz of our schedules and we went to dinner at Upstairs on the Square in Harvard Square and had a great meal then we went to a play called "Britannicus" at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge and then we went home where my hoo-hoo dilly danced with her cha-cha.
Aviatrix 02-08-2007, 10:21 AM I'll be in Las Vegas...maybe I'll go sit in the back pew of the "hunka-hunka burnin' love" chapel and watch Brittney get married...again.....:biglaugh:
thinktom 02-08-2007, 10:41 AM What do you get a woman who just delivered a 9 lb. 12 oz. baby boy??
Alcohol? Advil? Alcohol, Advil and flowers?? Alcohol, Advil, flowers and chocolate? Yep, that sound's about right.
Also, sleep I think. I'll probably take the kids away for as long as possible and let her sleep.

Bingo! din-ding-ding... I think you just hit the nail on the head, buddy. That's probably the best gift you can give her... and give her the alcohol, advil, chocolate & flowers too.

Paul@Pittsburgh 02-08-2007, 11:02 AM To those who are single and aren't currently in a relationship, why not use the day to LOVE yourself in a special kind of way?
Treat yourself to something special and celebrate who you are.

This may lead to blindness.

I've heard blind people are THE best, as they have a highly developed sense of touch. But glad to know you and I think alike PW, or at least we verbalize it :hopeless: :D

Faith Mama 02-10-2007, 11:03 PM Our anniversary is the 15th and since both Valentines Day and our anniversary fall mid-week, we are going to go out and celebrate on Saturday. There is a beautiful restaurant on a lake near our beach community, and we are going to go there and share love, a gourmet meal and a bottle of a nice dry champagne!:flower: :kiss2: :flower:

mleighp1 02-11-2007, 10:03 AM My boyfriend planned something. I'm not sure what but he asked me to cancel my pilates class after work so I will be ready to go do whatever it is we are doing. I'm excited; I'm sure whatever it is will be fun! I am making some cookies for him and giving him a bottle of champagne and a card. His birthday is a few days later so I"m saving the big gifts for that and am keeping Valentine's simple.

Thanks for the kind words Paul. That's definitely a more powerful way to go about it than many of us single folk are accustomed to. I plan to follow your advice to the letter.
