I'm dying to see this movie. From what I've seen in the previews this movie looks great. Superhero must be seen in the movie theater...all the CGI and special effects does not look as good on the small screen.

Check it out.

Good movie.

I never was much of a comic book kid growing up. I was into baseball cards. Big into baseball cards. I had a collection worth nearly 20,000$ by the time I was 13. Really loved baseball cards. Comics were something for reading on the toilet ;-)

But, I've become a fan of some of the comic book movies that have come out. The X-Men series caught myself and my wife off guard (we both loved it). Spiderman was decent. Really liked Daredevil. Damn near loved Hellboy.

I'm pretty sure I'll hate The Punisher though.

Anyways, this movie reminded me a lot of a cross between League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (alternate universe, fantastical stuff, good plot line, funny one-liners), but with a hint of Underworld: dark, brooding, etc.

I'm not much of a reviewer, but if you enjoyed either of the above movies (I loved Underworld, and thoroughly enjoyed LXG) you'll likely be into this one.

I loved Underworld too... and LXG was great. To be honest I'm not that big on comic books, but I usually love the adaptations. I was going to watch the movie on Friday but my girlfriend wasn't able to make it so we're doing it next Friday.

I can't wait to see Kill Bill 2... first installment of the film kicked as... Tarantino is quite an artist.

I finally saw Hellboy today! It was a great movie. I really enjoyed it. Characters and plot was great. Atmosphere was dark, and eerie...some CGI effects were so-so but it didn't really detract from the movie. Go and see it if you haven't done so already! =)
