She asked me if I wanted to know why she was breaking up with me. I told her not really. She seemed to be sort of confused when I said that. I think maybe she was preparing this big long thing to say for awhile and I didn't give her a chance to say it.

I told her that this doesn't have to be a life lesson for either one of us. Things just aren't working out I guess, so let's not make the break up longer than the relationship.

I've learned how to let go and move on quickly.

I think that's a great way to live Max. Sometimes things just don't work out, doesn't mean we need to analyze it to death. Two good people not meant for each other is...........well, just life. It frees you up quicker to have space (emtional, mental, physical) for another incredible person that you are really compatible with. All the best!

So I'm just going to focus on being the best version of myself that I can be. Right now this version is single. I've got a lot of things I'm working on right now career wise and academically that are taking up the bulk of my time. Factor in a few hours of exercise a day on top of that (I'm training for something) and my schedule is pretty full.

Since I posted this I've dated a few women, most of them were pretty cool but I haven't met "the one" yet. I'm not afraid to approach them and for the most part the ones I ask are still saying yes so it's nice to still have options. I'm grateful for that.
