I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same things I have been the last few days. Whenever I have posted here the last few days, immediately afterwards, my computer was running slow and my keyboard was only typing every 6th key I hit or so....

I ran ad-aware, and noticed approx. 24 ad-click type things that had shown up. I didn't visit any other websites except this one. That is what made me wonder. Is anyone else noticing the same thing? I ran a virus scan and had no viruses. Just curious.... After I ran ad aware and deleted the cookies from the pages here, and ran a virus scan, my computer was once again fast and my keyboard functioned properly. So just wondering if anyone else had noticed something similar happening?

No such effect for me, but thanks for posting - I haven't run AdAware for a while so this is a great reminder.

Hmm, that's got me thinking. I have noticed my Mac running slowly sometimes, and about an hour ago, the screen went completely blank and I had to forcequit and restart it again. Apparently I'm more protected having a Mac, but I don't think it makes me immune.

Just out of interest, do you have extra virus protection like McAfee?

I have a physical firewall, a software firewall, a router, cable modem, and use a anti virus program as well. I have all my ports unbinded to the TCP/IP except the ports needed to access the internet, I have turned off the ports like file sharing and printer ports access to the net. I never get viruses. So this strange behaviour the last few days was the result of spyware on my computer, after I had been to the vibe.... I got rid of them, and my computer returned to normal again... now they are being blocked by ad-aware.... Hope this helps! :)
