That took AGES!

After months of hard work between me and Greg(folio) we are finally putting the finishing touches to what we believe is a masterpiece. 10000 miles apart we have put together a very large book that we think can bring success to every area of you're life.

You will NEVER succeed at anything while insulting people who do not believe as you do. I know you posted this here looking for feed back. Well here it is.

I took one look at the first word in bold and knew instantly this piece needs a rewrite.

What do you hope to achieve with such awful mush other than tell the world what you think?

Seriously - thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you wrote something a bit more constructive than your original "Hopeless".

The page isn't meant to be a sales letter, just a bit of hype - experimental. It wasn't supposed to be insulting at all. However, I take your point. We will try to reword it.

What gives you the impression that we're trying to palm our beliefs off on people? That's a very interesting comment. It's exactly what we're trying not to do.

You obviously feel very strongly about it, and a negative reaction is better than no reaction.

I was turned off instantly myself from reading the first few paragraphs. It takes an "us versus them" attitude, and that will NEVER solve anything. Why? Because there will always be a "them" out there. And quite frankly, that explains the state of the world today. Most people operate from an "us versus them" point of view, instead of coming together to solve problems. If we would see the goodness in people, and try to grow and develop more of that, then the world would be a better place. Remember, we cannot solve the world's problems from the same level of thinking that created it. "Us versus them" is the same level of thinking that created much of the mess we live in today.

It also comes off as a bit arrogant that you think you and people who agree with you are the only intellegent people on the planet who are not idiots. I'm not sure if that is your intent, but that is the first impression you get when looking at you page.

I tuned out as soon as I read that.

I think some of the member's flack is due to our stance on mysticism and of course, people taking general comments personally. There's a study somewhere that indicates that even negative advertising produces more results than neutral advertising.

Has anyone read one of those books where you select a path that takes you through a different storyline to a different ending? Some of these books have more than two endings and numerous mid-story branches depending on your choices.
