View Full Version : Is there a financial independence in US?
artrush73 06-02-2009, 05:05 PM Who thinks there is a financial independence in US?
I have heard very many people are talking about it, buy for myself I haven't seen it.
I haven't seen the financial independence personally. Why? Is because the system in US is designed the way that people always ow money. All the money are going to the bankers, I'm sure.
Very many were financially independent before crisis. But what happened then? All the money that people spend to buy new houses, get a car, everything is gone. people lost their jobs, and all the money that they paid for mortgage are gone.
Because they always lived in the system.

Nope not true
Stoic_Jason 06-02-2009, 06:48 PM Sounds like at the very least the bankers are financially independent. No?
I think out of 300,000,000 people more than just bankers are very well off.
Wanderer 06-02-2009, 07:01 PM yup know and have known lots of people that are financially independent. I have dealt with my clients who were financially independent.
Some haven't had any debt in a long time. Some of them maintain debt on a regular basis but could do without it if they chose.
If you haven't found it, then you aren't looking in the right places. The US is one of the best places to find it.
Scooter 06-02-2009, 07:28 PM I am financially independent. I have not had to be supported financially for many many years. I can tell you this, my parents are very happy about that fact.

I completely agree with you Wonderer. In the US you can start from ground up and make it all the way to the top.:rulz:

:TrainWreck: Somewhere in there is the man who planned for success in the midst of the wreck. Yup.. there are still many many financially independent people in the US.
cogdoc 09-25-2009, 05:45 AM ...and until you've had some wrecks, you haven't really learnt what your truly capable of. I see every seeming setback as a great lesson. I got made redundant from a cushy 6 figure job this year, and I've learnt more about money struggling since than in several "wealth" CD programs. I KNOW this will springboard me onto even greater success, because I looked for the lesson in it, and had no choice but to stop and look. Life develops what it demands.
