Tiger Woods has always been a hero of mine. But he seems like he's completely lost it. He just had his worst effort ever at the Masters and hasn't won a major tournament since 2002. Do you think it's over for Tiger?

I've been wondering the same thing for a while, what the hell happened to him. I think part of it may be his marriage. I've heard it said that he doesn't practice enough, because he believes actually playing is better for his game than practicing. Don't know if that's true though. One thing is for sure though, he is in a big time slump!

Yeah, Tiger has been struggling for a while. Maybe he has other things on his mind which are distracting him from his game.

Good to see Phil Mickelson win the green jacket. Well deserved.

Yeah, I was beginning to think Mickelson would never win a Major.

Yeah after this win he his 1-42 and they were making big fun of him. hummmmm ...... WHOs making fun of him? The other Golfers that have won a Major? or the people that could never even imagine it, let alone do it? Since I don't play, and don't watch, I'm just curious.

I worked with a Nike Tour player once. His problem? Well, one was that he "lost his game." For someone facing the loss of his position on the Tour, his attitude was really pretty good. But, he forgot a couple key things ....
1) He is an Elite Athlete, one that is potentially the best at what he does!
2) It's ALL about your Focus, and what you believe, and the Actions you take to make it so.
3) Have FUN!
4) BE your BEST.

When we worked on "his Game," he found that he never lost it at all; he just eventually made an other-than-conscious decision to not remember, which made it easy for him to forget. So now his Focus is in part to forget not to remember, and move Forward in his best time.

Several years later, I saw Bagger Vance, and was reminded of the things that now-Pro tour player worked on. Just as Bagger "played his Field," so too did this young man. He is still looking for his first Majors win, and I'm sure that he is one of the many that congratualted Phil on his win, and found a little bit of inspiration in the win of another.

That is probably what Tiger is missing.Ya know, you're probably right! Gimme Tigers number, and we'll have him back in shape in no time! ;)

Actually, I think what will become of this "slump" ("only" winning 5 of 18 last year, a Dream Career for almost all who play) is that he will continue to excel when he chooses to, when it becomes THE Focus of his life. Up until a few years ago, Golf WAS his life. As Tiger ages, he has been adding new facets to that life, and each time, he "slumps" a little, and then springs back with the ferocity his name indicates.

Good for him!
