I thought the first one was very very dumb especially how they made it seem like vivica fox was in the whole movie. That movie should have never even been thought about doing a sequel to.

I loved Kill Bill. It was the best movie that I'd seen in a long while, and I'm really stoked about Kill Bill 2.

Actually they never planned having two movies. The film that Tarantino made was around 3 hrs or so, and the studio didn't want to release a movie that long and wanted to cut it down, so Tarantiono said he'd split the movie in two instead.

It's pretty much an homage to classic movies from different genres, but it is also a kick-ass action flick! =)

Not seen these 2 yet. I hope he never comes up with another abomination like Reservoir Dogs.

I only watched RD because everyone was saying how overrated it was and boy, they were right, the only decent bit was the soundtrack throughout it.

Kill Bill is released on DVD this week in OZ, so I'll be watching it soon. I've enjoyed most of Tarantino's movies, so I hope it is just as good.

Haven't even seen the first one yet either. I actually liked RD though. I liked True Romance and Pulp Fiction too.

Kill Bill 2 rocked!

I saw Kill Bill 2 this Friday and it was the best film that I've seen in a long while. Tarantino is really a masterful director. I enjoyed every second of the movie. And all the people in the movie theater seemed to be very respectful, you don't usually see everybody sitting through the credits.

If you haven't seen this movie you've got to go and see it. See volume one first, though. I don't really want to say too much about the movie, it's a nicer experience to go and see a film when you do not know that much about it.

That is exactly what they did with The Matrix II and III. It's actually one movie, Part I and Part II.

IAFPO,

Yeah, that was so annoying watching Matrix 2 and you were really into the movie and suddenly you hade a "To be Continued" sign... argggh... =)

Yeah, but luckily I had gone on the internet and knew that was going to happen, so it wasn't so bad because I expected it.

I watched Kill Bill vol 1 today. It was quite different from the other Tarrantino movies. I still enjoyed it and now waiting for vol 2 to be released.

antiphrasis, only on your recommendation will i watch these 2 movies! your reputation as a critic will be under review soon.

actually i'm a fan of tarantino, so i'll probably enjoy them. he's not particularly original though, but having said that, is there anything else original left to discover?

What about Guy Ritchie? Original? I don't know. Entertaining? Absolutely! 'Snatch' and 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' are the ones I've seen and I highly recommend both of them.

Tom,

Those two films are absolutely brilliant! I was LMAO when watching both of them. Another good one is Mean Machine... it has the guy who played Turkish in Snatch and the Bullet Dodger.... it's very funny also. :D

I can't remember, which one was called Turkish?

Scarlet Warrior

He was the fight promoter.... with his assistant Tommy. The one who went to the Pikey (Brad Pitt) to buy the caravan.

He is also in The Italian Job.

Yeah, he was good...It's been awhile since I've seen it. That made me laugh though, remembering about Him and Tommy.

Tom,

Those movies are amazing! I love Ritchie's work. I never watched that turkey with Madonna though... the one where she's stranded on some deserted island. It's supposed to be really bad.

Scarlett,

Another great movie with Jason Statham (who played Turkish) is The Transporter. It's pretty awesome movie if you like butt-kicking martial-artsy fast-driving movies.

Endeavour,

I cannot guarantee that you will enjoy these movies as much as I did. But if you are a big fan of Quentin Tarantino I would highly doubt that you would not like these two movies (or actually one movie in two parts). I would probably put Kill Bill on my list of top 20 movies I have ever seen.

When it comes to discovering interesting movies you should check out independent and foreign (foreign to America that is) movies. I find many of these to be very creative and original.

I saw this film last night. It was quite good, though a little over the top.... particularly the truck scene at the end.

You can't really expect realism from a big budget action flick... When I watch movies like this I pretend they're in a fantasy world where incredible stuff happens all the time. ;)

Kansas,

I saw that movie this Friday. It was great! The special effects were really nice, and I liked the story.

The movie will probably come true in a longer time span if people don't start caring about the environment.

I'm sorry but since the Simpsons took the mickey out of Tarantino in that Itchy and Scratchy cartoon I can't take his films seriously any more.
