Ever since I came home on Leave of Absence. Little by little i've been helping my mom organize the house.

So far i've:

-Taken numerous bags to Salvation Army

-Organized Half the Garage & the Laundry closet

and tomorrow am going to start on the cleaning closet.

Wow that doesnt sound like much so far....

But

I'll do something with the cleaning closet tomorrow. Take out all the bottles and throw away those we dont need.

Is she helping you?

Sort of...

I take the clutter out of the closet/actually physically clean things and then we go through it together so I dont throw out anything she wants.

She's always complaining that the house is cluttered...so...I'm taking the initiative that she usually puts off doing is all.

I like organizing :D

me too. My mom who is very organized herself once wrote me an email that said, "when are you going to visit again? My cupboard is a mess and I can't get it as neat as you do when you visit". I didn't even realize I organized her cupboard every time I come home until she wrote that. I like to line up all the food perfectly and arrange it by expiration date.

That's so sweet of you to help her out like that! A real win-win situation since you enjoy organizing. :thumb:

That's interesting that you do it by expiration dates. I usually do it by catagory. But that's not a bad idea when you're organizing food. :thumb:

I do it by category and the subcategory within each category is the expiration date.
