As I am not sure if this is the post for financial or physical wellness I have decided to start it here. "One Minute Millionaire" gave me a second breath to start my project - a fitness website featuring my very own fitness/bodybuilding system. One minute millionaire is focused on making a million dollars in 90 days. I, on the other hand would like to launch a successful and useful site for everyone interested in hardcore fitness. If I can make some money along the way - even better! This post is my way of social responsibility to accomplish my project in 90 days and today is day 1, hence I have 89 days left!

I would like to assemble a team of like-minded individuals, as the book suggests, however in this life, often, finding people like that is a pure luck, which I cannot count on and so I am charging ahead by myself, hoping to get some encouragement from the forum, although I still believe that if you cannot motivate yourself, noone else will, unless it is in some way beneficial to them...

Hi there - good luck with your project!

I've been running a stress management and holistic fitness website for the better part of a year now (PM me if you'd like the link - it's not one of the ones in my signature), so if there's anything I can help you with, just let me know. I was offering online personal training as well at one stage, but I decided to pull back on that because I just wasn't attracting the clients I wanted.

Keep us all informed of how you're going!

Best wishes and may every day bring you closer to your optimum life

:bouncy: Hey, thanks for the support! I will be waiting for the link to your website.
I am dedicating this day to putting together a "coming soon" website on russianbeast.com. I have had the domain registered for 2 years, but haven't done anything with it yet. I have my fitness system typed up and with pictures, as well as all the pages for the training log, yet because of the pdf file size (it's 100mb) I am not sure if it will work as an ebook.

:bonk: As I work with photoshop and web software I will add an email signup list to the main site, so that people can sign for updates whenever the website is launched. My goals are realistic: 10 emails this month, if possible.

:bonk: NEED IDEAS> The ideal would be to have some type of a club membership setup, but I am not sure what can I offer that will make monthly membership attractive, something that is updated every month. If anyone has any creative thoughts, please let me know, for I only have 88 days left and between my chemistry tests and work, it will have to be a real push.

I have just submitted an editorial to one of my favorite muscle magazines: too much emphasis is being put on how person looks and not enough what drives him or her. It would be great if it gets published, since I really like the magazine.

Have spent some time adding music backround to russianbeast.com. It loads slower, yet I think it "feels" better with it. I have decided earilier to start link exchange, however as of right now i've decided to put it off until I have a product ready to go. In the next 3 days I plan to finalize my e-book, break it off into smaller MB pieces for easier download, figure out paypal and plan out most of the site content. I would like it to be an inspiration/motivation/workout tips community website. It will require think-work, but that's ok. Can't get things moving without it. Got a chemistry test tomorrow :banghead: , so most of the work will have to be put off until after.

Comfort. I think that comfort is exactly what makes us do or don't do things. It is not motivation, rather personal comfort is what guides us. We are attached to comfort more than we know it. At any point of our lives we are exactly where we feel the most comfortable, provided the circumstances. (I would like to emphasize "most comfortable" as opposed to "absolutely comfortable" What does the forum think?

Thank you, lord, chem test is over!!!

Back to my project: I find it interesting. As I kept thinking about my project before I started this thread, all the plans seemed so chaotic and vague. Today as I've been working a little bit more on my website, as I was designing the links, my project was becoming more and more clear.

I have been investigating prices in fitness print magazines and although I am thinking about designing at least one print ad, I will see what I can do online through link exchanges once my site is finished. Did you know that a back cover of Muscle-Fitness may cost you as much as $60,000?

As I enjoy bodybuilding, I also enjoy heavy industrial-rave music. I have spent numerous hours looking for something new and exciting as far as music goes and could not find anything and with this I am charging ahead with making my own industrial style computer-based music which will be a part of my overall package once all is done. :yup:

Tanja,

Obviously you have plenty of experience of doing business on the internet. I consider myself a good web-designer, yet I am not too solid on internet marketing. What do you think is the best way to market on the internet? Do you have a solid source of leads? Is your company in the beginning stages or is it a pretty successful company already? Thanks for sharing ahead of time. I really liked the concept of charging per IM. Anthony Robbins charges $120+ per 30 minute phone session, so there are money to be made in this business and it looks like its all about marketing.. You can pm me if you don't want to post. ;)

Heya Russian

Grin... does it look like I have a lot of experience :tiphat: ? Wow! Actually, I still think of myself very much as a newbie!

Business-wise, Optimum Life (my company) is still very much in its beginner stages. I'm in a position where I know my stuff, but have yet to learn a lot of the marketing and sales side of things. One of the reasons I started my secondary business with Success University (once I decided to start working that as a business) was to get onboard with a company that will train me in how to market myself (a lot of their courses have to do sales and marketing, so in addition to the stress management courses I was trialling for my clients, I figured I could learn more about that)

I've found it easier to make money through SU than I did through my original business though, so my thought for 2006 was to carry on with Optimum Life from a content side of things (cutting back a little, because I only have so much time and energy, and I'm meant to be a stress management coach, after all!), but focus on building SU as my ethical cash generator. I can also trial what works and what doesn't for marketing SU (for example, I've learned about blogging, e-zine solo advertising and article writing to draw sales, rather than to purely inform, all through SU) - and once I'm comfortable with that, I can transfer that knowledge back to Optimum Life.

So thank you for the compliment, but I promise you, I too am just learning all this stuff :o !

Best wishes and may every day bring you closer to your optimum life

TANJA

THIS IS MY VOW TO THE FORUM. Within the next 72 hours I will make a major progress towards launching my russianbeast.com site.
I vow to:
- Break apart my ebook training system and make it available for download
- Think of something to have it load faster
- Make at least 2 weeks of training log pages available for download
- Set up my personal blog on the website
- Create another workout MP3 music file.
- Set up membership options through paypal

I remember almost a week after the whole ordeal in the Middle East started, the book "War In Iraq" has already appeared on the shelves of Borders. Someone had a sense of short-term foresight, entrepreneurship and determination and their idea was manifested in a very short period of time. It stuck in my mind and I would like to make a similar push with my website within the next 72 hours.

Hi Russian,

My website is far, far, far from being done. My goal is to have it running in 4 weeks. It's www.russianbeast.com. and dedicated to bodybuilding and strength training as well as some of my experiences back in Russia, while working out at "gyms" that were never intended to be gyms...

I've accomplished a lot during the last two days, although it may not show. I was able create a password protected area and figured out subscription payment methods. CCBill charges 14% + $700 visa application and they do all the work for you, while paypal charges like 3% or something, but I will have to do most of the work myself. I've figured out what I want to do and the password protected area is finally created!!! I have also added some descriptions to the About page and half-way done through my second lifting MP3 file (every piece of software that I own had to be fixed and re-loaded three hundred times, but another big step is made). :lildevil:
