Bl***y Christmas tree!

I am sitting here staring over my computer at a sad, lop sided Christmas tree. There is a body outline in pine needles on the carpet in front of it where the tree fell on top of me, twice (it's supposed to be a non needle drop tree hmm). The shops were out of tree stands, so I have a bucket, some sand stolen from the beach and and some rocks.

Any ideas of how to get it straight before I chop it up for fire wood!!?

LOL!!! I mean, not really, cuz I'm sure you were very frustrated and maybe a little bit injured when attached by your tree...twice.

But yeah - it IS pretty funny! So did the bucket & sand finally work, or did you come up with a different solution?

probably a bad move with the sand from the beach.
the salt content may well be helping to cause the needle drop.

better to use washed stones about one inch in diameter. then daily put water in the bucket just like watering flowers.

even if the tree does not absorb the water through its trunk the water will increase the local humidity which will help stop the needles drying out.
